Sophie articulated the balance of protecting the significance of our building with the need to carry out alterations to accommodate our growing family. We found her to be a good listener who took on board the contributions of others in a friendly and  professional manner, and is clearly committed and passionate about her work.

Sometimes you think you can do things yourself, but having a professional on board like Sophie, with her experience, background and contacts means in reality the job gets done more thoroughly and allows one to concentrate on other parts of the build project!

I worked closely with Sophie on our barn project, and she was a delight to do business with. She had an in depth knowledge and feel for old buildings, and her passion to get things right was always obvious. She proved very authoritative on her subject and this was well recognised by all the various bodies we had to deal with during the planning process.

Sophie went above and beyond to explain and simplify the complexities of our planning process and is clearly very knowledgeable in her field. Her reassuring, friendly and professional approach meant that we could get on with what we needed to do!
